I Stumbled Upon This

"The Complexity Of Fall"

I read about mermaids and I cross stitch birds. I paint cabinets, collect orange boxes and volunteer with the kiddies. I am curious about other people and their source of inspiration. I cut hair and keep moments locked in pictures. I love colour and faeries and make up and dictionaries.  I would call myself an artist, writer and some kind of photographer, but I find labels much too limiting.  And so far, I am loving this journey.

I remember when you took these pictures; Believe it or not, Canadians were among you!

Hmm... inspiration...
I admit I have been starving for my own time to taste different inspiration to myself. I have currently been fed by you, Hairy Faery, with your latest creations; I have little knit monsters at home, pictures of you and by you laying around in card format, which I prefer to call art, and now I'm curious to digest this new crotcheting technique!

I ran a duathlon yesterday... did well enough: I finished! As I ran & biked along the river, competitors who I had already tried to converse with in well wishing and hellos, stared and focused straight ahead. I, on the other hand, observed the flow of the river, listened to the birds cheer me on, and debated with Mother Nature as she put up her wall of wind -in both directions, I might add. And of course, the faithful hubby got nearly a full conversation every time I motored on by his cheering grounds -about anything and everything -just nice to see the supporting smile! I found the inspiration to make this race just a lovely morning of exercise!
